“Knowing One’s Heart” is a PSO quest that I found absolutely fascinating. So much so that I decided to record the entire thing (in a decidedly lo-fi way- photographing my TV was my only real option). Here it is, in (WARNING!) 80+ screenshots, from beginning to end:

This is where Elly and Calus’ story ends in this quest, but talking to NPCs on the ship give you a bit more insight.

Phantasy Star Online doesn’t have a story with the same sort of scope as previous games in the series, but memorable vignettes like this still resonate with me.
